Our mission
New AI tools launch every week. Most of them promise to save you hours, and many of them do something useful, but it is hard to know which ones are worth your time before you have signed up, read the fine print and tested them yourself.
AI Tools Directory exists to shorten that search. We collect AI tools in one place, organise them into clear categories, explain what each one does, show how it is priced and, for the listings we review in depth, tell you plainly what it does well and where it falls short.
We want a visit to this site to answer three questions quickly: what is this tool, who is it for and is it worth trying.
What AI Tools Directory is
AI Tools Directory is an independent, hand-reviewed directory of artificial intelligence tools. Every listing is checked by a person before it goes live. We do not scrape the web and publish whatever we find, and we do not accept listings that we cannot verify.
The directory is built for two audiences: people who are choosing an AI tool for their work or projects, and founders and teams who build AI products and want them to be discovered by the right people.
Right now: 20 approved tools across 120 categories. The directory grows as we review new submissions.

Browse every approved tool, search by name or keyword, filter by category and pricing model (free, freemium or paid) and sort by what is trending or new. Each tool has its own page at a stable address so you can bookmark and share it.
In-depth reviews
Selected tools have a full review page with an editorial verdict, an ATD Score out of 5, what the tool does best, who it is for, honest pros and cons, a summary of pricing plans, alternatives and answers to common questions. Read exactly how these scores are produced on our How We Review page.

A weekly newsletter
If you want new tools and deals in your inbox once a week, you can subscribe from the footer of any page. Subscription uses a confirmation email and every message includes a way to unsubscribe.
How we choose and rate tools
A listing is only published after an editor has looked at it. We check that the product exists and works, that its website is clear about what it does and how much it costs, and that it is not misleading, illegal or abusive.
For reviewed tools we score four dimensions (ease of use, features, value for money and support) and combine them with the editor's judgement into the ATD Score. We use free plans, trials and demos whenever they are available, and we say so when we could not test something hands-on.

How we are funded and why you can trust the scores
Running a directory costs time and money, so we are transparent about how this site is funded.
- Listing plans. Anyone can submit a tool for free. Founders who want a faster review, a Verified badge, a full review page or premium placement can choose a paid plan. Prices are shown on the submission page.
- Paid does not mean higher score. A paid plan buys speed, visibility and extra page features. It does not buy a better rating, a more positive verdict or the removal of criticism. Editors set scores independently of whether a tool is paying us.
- Clear labels. Paid and sponsored placements are labeled, and links on paid listings carry the link attributes recommended by search engines.
- Possible partner links. Some deal codes or links may be partner links through which we earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Where that applies we label it.
We believe an honest directory is more useful to readers and, in the long run, more valuable to founders too.
For founders and product teams
If you build an AI product, we would like to hear about it. Submitting takes a few minutes: tell us what the tool does, who it is for and how it is priced, pick a plan and send it in. You receive an invoice number straight away and an email from us.
- Free: your tool joins the review queue and is reviewed within up to 21 days. A review is not guaranteed.
- Fast-Track: a prioritised review (24 to 48 hours once payment is confirmed), a Verified badge and a full review page.
- Featured and Spotlight: express review plus premium placement on the homepage and at the top of your category for the period stated on the plan.
For paid plans you pay after we confirm that your tool is eligible, using PayPal or USDT. Ready? Submit your AI tool.
Our editorial principles
- Accuracy first. We correct mistakes quickly and show when a page was last reviewed.
- No fake social proof. We do not invent testimonials, user numbers or reviews, and we do not publish them on behalf of vendors.
- Plain language. We explain tools so that non-experts can understand them.
- Respect for your data. We collect only what we need to run the site. Read our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
- Fair to vendors. We describe tools accurately, give founders a way to request corrections and remove listings that no longer meet our standards.

We read every message. Response times can vary, and we prioritise corrections about factual errors.
Frequently asked questions
Is AI Tools Directory free to use?
Yes. Browsing the directory, reading reviews and using the search are free and do not require an account.
Do you accept every tool that is submitted?
No. We decline tools we cannot verify, that mislead users, that are unlawful or that do not fit the directory. Paying for a plan never guarantees acceptance: you are asked to pay only after we confirm eligibility.
Can a vendor pay to change its score?
No. Scores are set by our editors. Paid plans affect speed and placement, not the rating.
How often is information updated?
Reviewed pages show the date they were last reviewed. Prices and features change often, so always confirm details on the vendor's own website before you buy.
How can I report an error or ask to remove a listing?
