Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of https://aitoolsdirectory.si (the "Website") and of the listing services offered on it (the "Services"). The Website is operated by AI Tools Directory ("AI Tools Directory", "we", "us").

By using the Website, or by submitting a tool, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Disclaimer. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

What the Website and Services are

AI Tools Directory is an online directory of AI tools. Visitors can browse, search and read information about tools for free. Founders, companies and other rights holders can submit a tool for listing, optionally with a paid plan that adds a faster review, badges, a full review page or premium placement.

We are an independent directory. We are not the vendor of the listed tools, we do not operate them and we are not a party to any transaction between you and a tool's vendor.

Eligibility and business use

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and able to enter into a binding agreement. If you submit a tool on behalf of a company or another person, you confirm that you are authorised to do so and that these Terms bind that company or person.

The listing Services are provided for business and professional purposes.

Submitting a tool: your responsibilities

When you submit a tool you promise that:

  • you own the tool or have the right to submit it and to grant us the licence described below;
  • the information you provide (name, website, category, pricing model, pitch, description, contact details) is accurate, complete and not misleading, and you will tell us promptly if it changes;
  • the tool is real, publicly accessible and does what you say it does;
  • your submission does not infringe anyone's intellectual-property, privacy or other rights and does not break any law.

You must not submit tools or content that are illegal; fraudulent or deceptive; malware, phishing or credential-harvesting; adult or sexually explicit; hateful, violent or harassing; designed to infringe rights or to deceive users about whether they are talking to an AI; or that otherwise breach the rules of search engines or major platforms. Do not submit fake reviews, testimonials or usage statistics.

We may decline, edit for clarity or length, reclassify or remove any submission at our discretion.

Editorial discretion and no guarantee of listing or ranking

All listings are subject to our review. Submitting a tool, even with a paid plan, does not guarantee that it will be accepted, published, ranked in a particular position, featured at a particular time or receive a particular score or verdict. Scores, verdicts and rankings are editorial opinions made independently of any payment. See How We Review.

Plans, prices and payment

Plans

We currently offer a Free plan (review within up to 21 days, not guaranteed), a Fast-Track plan (prioritised review, Verified badge and a full review page) and a Featured and Spotlight plan (express review and premium placement for the period stated on the plan). The features of each plan, their prices and their target review times are shown on the submission page at the time you submit and are incorporated into these Terms.

Prices

Prices are one-time fees stated in US dollars, are not a subscription and do not renew automatically. We may change prices at any time; a change does not affect an order that has already been created.

How payment works

  1. You submit the tool and receive an invoice number. No payment is taken at submission.
  2. We check that the tool is eligible. If it is not, we decline it and you pay nothing.
  3. If it is eligible, we email you payment instructions (a PayPal link or a USDT wallet address and network) quoting your invoice number.
  4. Your review timeline and any placement period start when we confirm that we have received your payment.

Cryptocurrency and fees

Payments in USDT must be sent on the network and to the address we specify. Cryptocurrency transfers are irreversible; funds sent to a wrong address or network cannot be recovered by us. You are responsible for network fees and for sending the full amount. Taxes, if any, are your responsibility unless we state otherwise on the invoice.

Review times

Stated review times are targets that apply to the review of an eligible submission and start when payment is confirmed. They are not a promise that the tool will be accepted. If we need clarification from you, the clock pauses until you reply.

Refunds and cancellations

  • Declined before payment: you are not charged.
  • Cancelled before work starts: if you ask us to cancel a paid order before our editors have started the review, we will refund the amount you paid, minus any transfer fees we cannot recover.
  • After the review has started: fees are non-refundable, because the service has been performed or substantially begun, except where the law gives you a right to a refund or where we fail to deliver the service we sold (for example, we do not publish an eligible listing within the stated timeline for reasons within our control). In that case we will either complete the service promptly or refund you.
  • Cryptocurrency refunds are sent to the originating wallet, less network fees.

Placement, duration and removal

Premium placements (for example homepage or category placement) run for the period stated on the plan, starting when we publish the placement. When the period ends, the tool returns to a standard listing. The full review page and Verified badge remain for as long as the listing is published and meets our standards.

We may remove or downgrade a listing at any time, without refund where this results from your breach of these Terms or from information that was inaccurate or misleading, or if the tool becomes unavailable or unsafe. You may ask us to remove your listing at any time by emailing us.

Licence you grant us

You keep all rights in your tool, name, logo and content. You grant AI Tools Directory a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, format, summarise and promote the information and logos you submit in connection with the Website, our newsletter and our social channels, for as long as the listing is published and for a reasonable time afterwards for archiving and backups.

The logos shown next to tools are loaded from public favicon services or supplied by vendors, and belong to their respective owners. They are shown only to identify the tool.

Our content and intellectual property

The Website, its design, text, reviews, scores, graphics and code (excluding third-party names, logos and submitted content) belong to AI Tools Directory or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may view the Website, share links and quote short excerpts with attribution and a link back. You may not copy, republish, sell or build a competing database from our content, or use our name and branding in a way that suggests endorsement, without our written permission.

Acceptable use of the Website

You agree not to:

  • attack, probe or overload the Website, or try to bypass its security, rate limits or access controls;
  • use bots, scrapers or other automated tools to collect content in bulk or to submit forms;
  • submit spam, false or duplicate listings, or use the forms to send unsolicited messages to others;
  • impersonate another person or organisation, or misrepresent your relationship with a tool;
  • use the Website for anything unlawful.

We may block access or take other measures if we believe these rules are broken.

Third-party tools, links and deals

The Website links to third-party tools and websites that we do not own or control. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content, availability, security, pricing or practices. Deal and discount codes are provided by or on behalf of vendors; availability and conditions are set by them and may change or end without notice.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Website and the Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or uninterrupted or error-free operation. Information about tools can become outdated quickly. Please read our Disclaimer.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AI Tools Directory and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Website, the Services, or any tool or third-party website you find through us.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us for the Services in the twelve months before the event that gave rise to the claim (or, if you paid nothing, to a nominal amount of 100 US dollars).

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or for intentional misconduct, or any consumer rights that cannot be waived.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AI Tools Directory and its operator against claims, damages and reasonable costs (including legal fees) arising from your submission, your breach of these Terms or your infringement of any third party's rights, to the extent permitted by law.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access to the Services, and remove your listings, if you breach these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if continuing would harm the Website or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as licences already granted, payment obligations, liability limits and governing law) will survive.

Changes to these terms or the Services

We may update these Terms or change, suspend or discontinue part of the Website. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version. Changes apply from the date they are published, and do not change the terms of an order that is already in progress. If you keep using the Website after an update, you accept the new Terms.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the place where the operator is established, excluding conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of the place where the operator of this website is established, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
