About Luma Genie
Luma Genie generates 3D models from text descriptions or reference images. Describe an object — "a medieval treasure chest with gold trim" — and Genie creates a textured 3D model you can rotate, export and use in games, AR/VR, product visualization and design.
The generated models include geometry, textures and materials. Output formats include GLB, OBJ and USDZ for compatibility with major 3D tools, game engines and web platforms. Models can be viewed interactively in the browser.
Image-to-3D converts reference photos into 3D models, useful for product visualization and asset creation. The technology builds on Luma's Neural Radiance Field expertise from their 3D capture technology.
Genie is available through Luma's platform with free and paid tiers.
