About Niji Journey
Niji Journey is a specialized AI image generator developed as a collaboration between Midjourney and Spellbrush, focused exclusively on anime, manga and illustration styles. While Midjourney excels at photorealism and general art, Niji is fine-tuned specifically for Japanese animation aesthetics.
The model understands anime-specific concepts: chibi proportions, mecha designs, shonen action poses, shojo aesthetics, isekai environments, visual novel character designs, gacha game art styles and specific anime art movements. It produces results that feel authentically anime rather than "AI trying to do anime."
Niji shares Midjourney's interface and workflow but with anime-optimized outputs. Style modes allow switching between different anime aesthetics: cute, expressive, scenic and default. The web editor provides the same editing tools as Midjourney.
